Signup Attestation

This page is the Signup Attestation document that Skipshit requires every account holder to make. You will be asked to affirm this attestation during signup; this page exists so you can read the full text before, during, or after that step.

You must read and affirm each of the statements below before Skipshit will create a billable account for you. By clicking "I attest and agree" during signup, you are making each of these representations to Skipshit, operated by Multistate Land Investments LLC ("Skipshit," "we," or "us"), and you agree that Skipshit may rely on each of them as a condition of providing the Service.

You are signing this attestation on your own behalf or on behalf of an organization you are authorized to bind. If you are acting on behalf of an organization, "you" includes that organization.

1. Lawful business purpose. I will use Skipshit only for a lawful purpose. I will not use Skipshit, or any data obtained through Skipshit, for any purpose prohibited by applicable U.S. federal, state, or local law.

2. Not a consumer reporting agency; no FCRA-regulated uses. I understand that Skipshit is not a consumer reporting agency, that data obtained through Skipshit is not a "consumer report" under the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq.) or any state analog, and that I will not use any data obtained through Skipshit, in whole or in part, as a factor in determining any individual's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing, or any other purpose enumerated in or regulated by the FCRA.

3. No GLBA- or DPPA-regulated uses. I understand that Skipshit's data feed is not licensed for, and does not include, information regulated by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (15 U.S.C. § 6801 et seq.) or the Driver's Privacy Protection Act (18 U.S.C. § 2721 et seq.). I will not represent, treat, or use Skipshit data as GLBA- or DPPA-regulated information, and I will not combine Skipshit data with GLBA- or DPPA-regulated data I obtain elsewhere in any manner that would cause Skipshit's data to become subject to those statutes.

4. No harm to persons. I will not use Skipshit, or any data obtained through Skipshit, to harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, defraud, discriminate against, or otherwise harm any person. I will not use Skipshit to target any person under the age of 18.

5. No prohibited recipients. I will not provide, resell, sublicense, or otherwise make available any data obtained through Skipshit to any person or entity that I know or reasonably should know (a) intends to use it for an unlawful purpose, (b) appears on the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control list of Specially Designated Nationals or any other U.S. sanctions list, or (c) appears on Skipshit's published list of restricted recipients (the "Restricted Recipients List"), which I acknowledge I have reviewed and which Skipshit may update from time to time.

6. No bulk use; no resale. I will use Skipshit only for individual, inquiry-based lookups. I will not use Skipshit for bulk data acquisition, list enrichment, list building, or any similar mass-extraction purpose. I will not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or republish data obtained through Skipshit, and I will not incorporate Skipshit data into any product or service I or my affiliates offer to third parties.

7. No AI training or third-party AI ingestion. I will not use any data obtained through Skipshit to train, fine-tune, evaluate, benchmark, or otherwise develop any artificial intelligence or machine learning model. I will not submit, paste, upload, or otherwise input data obtained through Skipshit into any third-party AI system, hosted model, or open-source AI platform. I will not use Skipshit data within any AI system to make, support, or replace a "consequential decision" as defined by the Colorado AI Act (Colorado Revised Statutes Title 6, Article 1, Part 17) or any comparable law.

8. U.S.-only service; no EU/UK/EEA users. I confirm that I am located in the United States and am accessing Skipshit from the United States. I understand that Skipshit does not offer the Service to users located in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or the European Economic Area, and that Skipshit blocks signups from those jurisdictions. I will not attempt to circumvent that block.

9. Compliance with all applicable laws. I will comply with all laws, rules, and regulations applicable to my use of Skipshit, including without limitation the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (47 U.S.C. § 227), the CAN-SPAM Act (15 U.S.C. § 7701 et seq.), the federal Do Not Call rules, and all applicable U.S. state privacy laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, the Colorado Privacy Act, the Utah Consumer Privacy Act, and the Connecticut Data Privacy Act.

10. Audit and recordkeeping. I consent to Skipshit's auditing of my account and my use of the Service for compliance with this attestation, Skipshit's Acceptable Use Policy, Skipshit's Terms of Service, and applicable law. I understand and agree that Skipshit retains a record of every query I make through the Service, including the inputs I submit, the response status, and the timestamp, and that Skipshit may use those records to investigate compliance and to respond to demands from law enforcement, regulators, or Skipshit's upstream data sources.

11. Suspension and termination. I understand that Skipshit may suspend or terminate my access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if Skipshit has any reason to believe that I have violated this attestation or any other Skipshit policy or agreement, or if Skipshit's upstream data source requires it.

12. Authority and accuracy. I am at least 18 years old. The information I have provided to Skipshit during signup is accurate and complete. If I am signing on behalf of an organization, I have the authority to bind that organization to this attestation and to Skipshit's other terms.

13. Acceptance of related policies. I have read, understand, and agree to be bound by Skipshit's Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and Privacy Policy, each as in effect on the date of this attestation and as may be updated by Skipshit from time to time.
